How To Become Opay Agent In Nigeria
Firstly, Head to your mobile application store and download the app, to create an account on Opay, you can as well visit their website to create the account also.
Upgrade to KYC 3
Once you have created an account, Go to settings and upgrade your KYC level to 3, This would require you to submit your valid ID, Which consists of either of the following; International passport, voter’s card, or national identification card).
I would also require you to upload your very recent utility bill, either it is for electricity, water, or rent invoice, then your Bank verification number (BVN)
For this to be processed, it would take, Opay Team 1 to 2 working days, for a review, and the final decision lies with them on either to approve or decline your KYC, Upon approval, you would receive a notification.
Switch To Merchant
That’s not all. After you have been approved for KYC 3, you would still be required to switch your profile to a merchant. By following the exact steps above, you would be able to switch to a merchant, but this around, instead of utility bills, and ID, you would be required to fill in your business information. The team would still have to take a closer look at your data for them to either approve or decline your request.
After you’ve successfully switched to the merchant, then proceed to “Merchant Apply”, you would be required to download the Opay business app, for you to continue your application.
